A while ago I wrote a post about the new WordPress 2.3 and my dislikes with the new category system. It turns out I was wrong with my findings that my category-based forum wouldn't work with WP2.3, because it does. Jay! After I'd upgraded my testbox to WordPress 2.3, I did some more interesting things to the testbox. (more...)
WordPress 2.3 is in beta development as we speak, and one of the main new features is embedded tag support. I'd say jay, because I'm a big supporter of seperate tags and categories, mainly because you can do fun things with the categories, while you keep the tags to give some simple information on the essence of the post. Now you might ask, what fun things can you with categories?

Another lay. Like I said before, the last one was too corporate looking, so here's the new layout. It's live, so I can start tweaking a bit.
Last week Vinnie and I decided it was time ochblog got a new theme. So we talked a bit about how stuff should be layed out, decided on what colors to use, and we searched for a theme we could brutally violate to fit our needs. About two hours later we had a reasonable thing going with a modified version of the unnamed theme. (more...)
My new theme is pretty much finished, and it turns out it looks kinda like a corporate blog. I'm not sure if I like it for my blog, but if I don't, there will be another new theme soon, in wich case I will make this theme available for downloading.
After being on Wordpress mu for a while, this blog is currently back on running regular Wordpress. I figured this will save me a lot of time in the future whenever I want to try a new plugin or something. Since I'm not that active in developing/testing themes anymore, I really didn't need the mu thing anyway. Just so you know.
